Salaam readers. Time flies so fast that finally we have come to the end of Ramadhan. What have I done the past month? Did I manage to double my good deeds? Hmm... I believe there are room for improvements. Believe it or not, I didn't get the chance to join terawih at the mosque. I miss my fellow "beliawanis yang seangkatan dengan ku". :p hehe~

Last week of Ramadhan has been busy for my family. As usual, as the eldest, I have to help mum tidy the whole house. Hang new curtains, mop and vacuum the whole house, wipe all the windows, change bedsheets etc. House cleaning has always been my cup of coffee. ;) Of course I got exhausted by the end of the day but on top of all, I felt extremely impressed by my hard work. Weee~Oh ya, thank God I managed to meet up some of my friends for iftar. Ramadhan is the only time I'm able to catch up with old and new friends, as well as cousins. Sadly I didnt manage to meet my 2 nyp sweethearts, AIG dearies and my cousins too. I hope you're doing good sweethearts. Insya Allah we'll meet during Hari Raya alright? :)


My family's doing good in spite of the 3 incidents that happened within this Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah it strengthened our bonds. Being the eldest isn't easy my friends. Alot of responsibilities that I have to carry. Alot of thinking to be done too. I act as my parents' substitute if my siblings refused to obey them. I'll get the 1st hand scolding if anything goes wrong. To make things worst, I am also the eldest grand-daughter. Gosh~


People will look high upon you if you do something good and they will say, "Follow her footsteps. You should be like her." If you do vice versa, they'll say, "Kak, you, as the eldest, have to show good examples to your siblings and cousins." The most important thing is I love them. I love my family. Everybody. I don't think it's a burden for me 'coz I love being the eldest. I am born to be one. Fated to be one. And I'm thankful for that. :)

Before I end today's piece, I would like to wish all my muslim friends Eid Mubarak. May this year's Syawal be the most memorable for you and family. Be happy. Don't forget to give a big hug to your family and tell them that you love them. Please do.


Maassalamah ya ikhwan.

Alhamdulillah this year's Ramadhan has been one of the finest. All the iftars, the bazaar and meetups with fellow frens and family members. Alot of activities in the month of Ramadhan. Not just the prayers, the iftars..but other activities like goin out with fellow bike friends to jb, the hilarious laughters during iftar and other outings. Had a downfall though when I failed my Health Insurance Exam. :( k nevermind..Im smiling back again now :) lets get going..

Even though Im having my sch holidays right now, I just feel bored. Its like Ive alot to think and sometimes I think of things that are unnecessary. oh boy...but looking on the bright side of life, I just have to think 1 at a time. yes...1 at a time.

Alot of activities til I just cant think of where to start..k lets begin with the financial training or what they call it..erm..CCP-2..yah..what a boring course..or workshop i supposed..half day I was sleeping...and another half of it playin psp. I was there together with my bro, Hijazi. I thought I was the only one sleeping..didnt know later that he was sleeping too as well.. keke.


After few days, on the 13th Sept, SetiaKawan (SK) made an iftar session @ Simpang Bedok after which we went to Geylang after watchin EPL match there. By then it was already 10pm in the evening when we reached. Had alot of fun there in which Azim's bike then had a broken bellypan after he did somethin which..i donnoe what to call it. Now, he's riding a FAZER 1000. didnt get to take a pic of it but Im sure in future i will. Haris took over his S4. On the 19th, SK once again did a last min outing to geylang after which we went to esplanade for a scrool and went to have sahur...yes sahur at Bencoolen St. Didnt have much to report here as we went straight home. The day after, i was down with a dreadful fever the whole day.


Went out to Geylang with my baby to shop for our Raya clothes. Just three words "Love U Baby" ;) Bought 2 Hindustani clothes (pink and maroon) and another dark purple baju kurung.Didnt get any pics for our outing this time but we had a great day even though we didnt get to spend much time together. :)

Microsoft Boot Camp. I guess this is another 1 boring course. The 1st day I woke up late. Course starts at 9am..but I woke up 9am. keke. So after bathing and everything, its already 1020am..went straight to sch through my normal route but to my surprise, kaki bukit linkage to the bridge has been closed. So now have to go through airport rd. K carry on...reached sch looking at my watch..1045am...went to find for the class and thats when my phone rang..Ridzwan callin to say its break time til 1pm :S So that means the morning session gone just like that and I went to sch for nothing. If I knew, would have went to sch at 12. But its ok, we went to KFC..wait wait....let me finish k...we went to KFC where our CHINESE friends went to have their lunch where I and Ridzwan just went there to accompany them. I played my psp while Ridzwan did some snappings off his new digicam. What a long HOT day it was. Managed to record a video of me interviewing them..keke..but cant upload it here as the size went over 100mb and needs to be converted into smaller format which Ridzwan is still tryin to do it. The day ended early as we did the practicals fast as we had the experience hands on even before the course starts.

Last but not least, iftar session with my 2nd family. Didnt get to have pics for that session but I did enjoyed the cookings and of course with the company of my baby and my dearest "adek sedaras"...watched Hantu Ambulance and followed by Mortal Kombat..The food was fabulous and extremely steamingly delicious. Thanks baby :)

So, thats what has been happening up to date...Ramadhan's coming to an end and hope all our prayers are answered. Increase our Iman and celebrate this years Syawal with victory and joy.

Selamat Hari Raya Maaf Zahir Batin everyone from the both of us

Hi readers. It has been 3 weeks since fasting started and now, we're already in the last 3 days of Ramadhan. Gosh~ Time pasts so fast without me realising it. Many incidents happened this Ramadhan. It's an eye-opener for my family and me. Alhamdulillah we are more united now. 2 accidents in a month. Gosh~ Ok I shouldn't blabber about this further.

Life has been a great pleasure for me besides my hectic schedule in school. Talking about school, I have 1 word to describe it. FUN! ;)


Met new friends (mostly chinese), joined the Muslim Society, learn new things etc. Took 3 full units as well as 2 half units this year. Intro to Business Mgmt (a killer!), Principles of Sociology, Intro to Info Systems, 1/2 unit Intro to Programming and 1/2 units Statistics which will commence in November 08.


Frankly speaking, initially I was so depressed thinking how am I supposed to adapt to the new environment. New lecturers, friends, school. Hmm~ Indeed very scary. The thought of "oh I'm taking a degree now. I have to study extremely hard and get good results. Make your parents proud Ain! " Gosh~ Pressurizing~ I shattered for few nights wondering if I can ever make it to the end. I'm such a cry baby but hey, that's how I ease myself.


I have been doing alot of reading on how to improve my self-esteem. It sounds pathetic but at least I have the will to improve myself. You go girl! ;) I read that we have to think positive and be confident in ourselves. We have to say that we are the best! We are unique! I will make a difference! Caused subconsciously you are telling your mind that you will be the best and will make the best out of the 3 years. Thankfully, that's what I have been doing. Put aside my fears, take up the challenges and look ahead and say, "I will hang on till the end". Alhamdulillah, it works! At least. ;) hehe~ Only Allah knows how keen I am to get to know the Muslim fellows in school. Furthermore they are from all over the world. How wonderful it is to have a diverse Muslim culture in school. :) I like!!!


Mentioning about cultures, I joined the Muslim society for their Iftar last 17th Sept 08. Joined them after my sociology class. They invited Syed Mohamed Mustafa Mohamad Ali Asyarqawi, qari from Mesir, to lead us for the Maghrib, Isya' and Terawih prayers. Subhanallah~ He recites the quran very well. Praises to Allah for giving him such abilities. Made friends with Nazneen from Pakistan, a final year Mathematics and Economics student. Up to date, she managed to clinge herself to second upper class. I am extremely impressed on how the international students value their studies here in Singapore. Unlike SOME of the locals who take their studies for granted. As usual, as an opportunist, I asked her for tips on how to manage my time well for revision and how am I to tackle the Intro to Biz and Mgmt module. She gave me some useful tips. The key point here is "Revise constantly". :) I will do it! Thanks dear for the help.

See the cute Kak Syikin (in blue). She's 6 months pregnant. I'm gona be an aunty soooooon! Haha~ Aunty Ain. Oh dear~ Sounds odd. She's carrying a baby boy! Hmm~ I forsee he must be as good-looking as the father and will have the pretty features from kak Syikin. When Philippines meets Singapore, you will get handsome and pretty babies! Can't wait! Oh the best part is, her baby will due in January on my birthday! haha~ Hopefully it's for real caused we can only predict the day of delivery but Allah sets the actual time and date. On top of all, hopefully she'll have a smooth pregnancy and delivery insya Allah. Love you sister.
